Aquanaut have been building steel motor yachts in Sneek since 1975, and the Global Voyager 1500 is the boat they make when the brief is living aboard properly rather than weekending. This one is the version worth having. She is a 2010 boat still with her first owner, she has covered just 1,457 hours in fifteen years, and she has been kept in a boat garage whenever she was not being used. That last detail tells you more about her condition than any survey summary. The Stabi designation is the point. She carries Vetus hydraulic fin stabilisers, which on a 34-tonne, fifteen-metre hull is the difference between a passage you endure and one you enjoy, and she has hydraulic thrusters at both bow and stern, so a single-handed skipper can put her alongside without drama. CE Category A, a long keel under a hard-chine steel hull, and a hydraulically lowering mast that drops her air draft from 6.70 metres to 3.77 for the canals. What sets her apart below decks is the sheer number of berths. Four cabins and eight berths in fifteen metres is unusual, and she manages it without feeling like a caravan: an owner's cabin with a proper en suite and separate shower, a double guest cabin, a twin, and a bunk cabin for children or crew. The interior is cherry over wood floors, with granite worktops, a Siemens oven and a washer-dryer tucked in the lazarette. Kabola central heating and double glazing throughout mean she is genuinely habitable through a northern winter, and there is air conditioning with a Webasto display in every cabin for when she is not. She is also set up to stay away from the dock. A 12 kVA Whisper Power generator, a 60 litre an hour watermaker, 2,320 litres of fuel and 800 litres of fresh water, with the tank levels on a single multi-control display. The electronics are a full Raymarine suite with radar, AIS and cameras covering both sides, astern and the engine room. In 2025 her underwater hull was sandblasted back and recoated, and new antifouling went on at the same time. She lies at the sales office in the Netherlands.
