Full Description

Grand Banks 38 Eastbay EX (2000), 11.58m LOA x 4.00m beam x 1.18m draft, CE Category B with a V-shaped hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesels (2 x 375hp) on shafts, with Sleipner bow thruster and 2025 stern thruster (both with remotes). Major 2025 upgrades include Raymarine electronics (2x Axiom 12”, digital radar, AIS, autopilot) plus Victron Quattro 5kW inverter/charger and Cerbo Touch monitoring. Tankage: 1,300L fuel, 360L water, 120L black. Asking price €249,000 / approx. $292,650 / £217,576.

CONSTRUCTION

GRP hull, deck and superstructure with non-skid painted finish. Teak cockpit deck finish. Stainless rubbing strake, stainless window frames and stainless portholes. Antifouling noted as completed in 2025.

MACHINERY

Twin Caterpillar 3208 diesels, 375hp (276kW) each, freshwater/heat-exchanger cooling, shaft drive with hydraulic gearbox. Fixed propellers with stainless shafts and oil-bath lubrication. Sleipner electric bow thruster with remote and electric stern thruster with remote (new in 2025). Trim tabs fitted. Generator: Maze IS 6.5S (5.7kW) with wet exhaust. 2025 maintenance notes include new oil, filters, impellers and fuel filters.

ELECTRICS

Battery bank listed as 10 batteries total: 4x Optima Redtop start batteries (12V 50A), 6x 6V 390A service batteries, plus generator battery (12V Varta). Victron Cerbo 7” Touch monitoring (2025) and Victron Quattro 12/5000/220 inverter/charger (2025). Shorepower with cable. Intelligent battery combiners (2025).

TANKAGE

Fuel tank: aluminium, 1,300L (level indicator fitted). Freshwater: aluminium, 360L (level indicator fitted). Blackwater: GRP, 120L with deck extraction + pump.

NAVIGATION

Raymarine suite including: 2x Axiom 12” plotters, Raymarine digital radar, Raymarine AIS transceiver, Raymarine autopilot, Raymarine VHF, Raymarine wind instrument, depth sounder, compass/electric compass, Airmar 110WX weather receiver, navigation lights, and searchlight.

ACCOMODATION

One cabin / two berths with teak interior and teak floor. Owners cabin with V-berth (2m bed length). Dinette converts to an extra berth. Separate bathroom area with electric toilet, wash basin and shared shower. Heating: Eberspächer diesel ducted hot air. Air-conditioning: Webasto Bluecool S10 reverse-cycle (10,000 BTU). Galley includes stainless sink, calor gas cooker (certified 2025), Eno oven, extractor, Panasonic microwave/oven combi, and fridges (Isotherm + top loader). Hot water via 220V + engine (Isotherm)

DECK

Fixed windscreen, sprayhood and bimini. Cockpit cushions (Skai Cognac) noted 2025. Cockpit table, bathing platform, stainless boarding ladder, deck shower, anchors (two listed), anchor chain, deck wash, stainless sea railings and grab rails, wiper, electric horn, radar reflector, fenders and mooring lines. TV listed as Samsung “The Frame”.
